POSITION:  SUPERINTENDENT – BELLEFONTE WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT

The Borough of Bellefonte is seeking applications for the position of Superintendent, Waste Water Treatment Facility.  The Superintendent is responsible for the overall wastewater treatment plant operations including but not limited to: plant operation; plant maintenance; laboratory analysis; purchasing; regulatory administration and compliance; and personnel management. The successful candidate shall possess, at a minimum, a Class B Wastewater System Operator’s license.  In addition,  the successful candidate must be certified through the PA Department of Environmental Resources in Land Application of Bio-solids.  A B.S. Degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences or equivalent as well as management experience is desirable.  A minimum of ten (10) years experience working in waste-water treatment is a requirement for this position.  This position reports to the Borough Manager.
