Criminal Mischief

Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief that occurred to the rear of the Centre County Courthouse. On scene, officers found that an unknown actor had broken several window out of a Centre County Probation Dept. vehicle and the Centre County Sheriff’s Dept. transport van. The actor also damaged a camera to the rear of the Centre County Courthouse.

Theft/ID Theft

On Monday, March 9^th 2009 at approximately 1:00 p.m., a black, heavy-set female entered the Nittany Bank (located at 125 North Allegheny Street) in Bellefonte, PA. The suspect female provided a false PA driver’s license and requested to make a withdraw from an account. The false ID had the victim’s correct information on it and a picture of the suspect. The suspect also provided the victim’s correct SSN. At that time the bank employee did complete a withdraw for the suspect from the victim’s checking account and a withdraw from the victim’s saving’s account. The suspect then left the bank on foot and walked approximately 1 block to the First National Bank at the corner of Howard and Allegheny Streets and attempted to do the same, using the false ID. The victim, however, did not have an account with First National Bank.

The Suspect is described as a heavy-set black female. She was wearing a white, long coat with quit-type patterns on it. She was carrying a black purse with flower designs and had a large white cell phone with her.
