The eight members of the Centre Area Cable Consortium (Bellefonte and State College Boroughs, Benner, College, Ferguson, Halfmoon, Harris and Patton Townships) invite all interested residents to attend and provide their feedback on Comcast at a public hearing scheduled for February 27th at 7:00 PM at the College Township Building, 1481 East College Avenue, State College. The feedback will be considered as the Consortium negotiates a new cable franchise with Comcast later this year.
Bellefonte Borough Public Works employees will begin to replace main and service lines on Benner Avenue on March 5, 2018. Benner Avenue will be closed from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for approximately three to five weeks (except March 20-23, when Public Works employees will be attending the PA Rural Water conference). The following properties will be affected by this water line replacement project:

West Penn Power is monitoring Winter Storm Liam. This storm is expected to bring rain, ice and snow.
West Penn Power is prepared to activate its storm response process including staffing additional dispatchers and analysts at the regional dispatch office and making arrangements to bring in additional line, substation and forestry personnel, as needed. All West Penn Power crews and support personnel are prepared to work the storm should weather related outages occur.
