We cannot currently accept online payments for parking tickets as there is a problem with the equipment. Until further notice, parking tickets will have to be paid either by bringing payment in to the Police Department, by putting the fine in the provided yellow envelope and mailing it, or by placing the fine in the provided yellow envelope and putting it in the payment box outside the front door.

An alternative to leaving your unwanted items out for Bulk Waste Collection is to donate to Habitat for Humanity ReStore. You can take household items to Habitat’s Bellefonte headquarters to keep them out of the landfill (or if your item(s) are on their list but are too large for you to deliver to them, please contact ReStore to schedule a free donation pick-up). Click here for a list of the detailed items they accept for donation.
Reminder: The Bellefonte Borough Bulk Waste Collection is the week of May 20-24. During this week, Borough refuse customers are permitted to place bulk waste at the CURB ONLY for pickup by Borough staff. There will be no charge for this extra pickup service. The bulk waste pickup will follow the same routes and schedules as the regular refuse collection service, with one pickup truck-size load limit per customer. The refuse crew will not make extra trips to an address. Tires, batteries, items too heavy for two people to handle, construction material, paint cans and hazardous waste cannot be picked up during bulk waste collection Residents are not to use cardboard boxes for items if it is raining or it is calling for rain as it makes it difficult for the refuse crew to pick up the boxes without them falling apart. The Borough reserves the right to not collect if there is too much or it is too heavy.
