Recycling Start Time Pilot- Summer 2022

Centre Region Council of Governments has created this Pilot program to ensure greater worker safety during the summer months.

Specifics of Pilot

• Collections begin at 6 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. throughout the Borough.
• This Pilot Program will start the Tuesday after Memorial Day (May 31)  and extend through the Friday before Labor Day (September 2).
• The pilot includes recycling collection in Bellefonte Borough.
• COG will gather data and feedback on the pilot’s successes and downsides.
