The Borough of Bellefonte is accepting letters of interest and resumes from qualified residents interested in filling the vacant West Ward Borough Council seat.

Letters of interest and resumes will be accepted beginning Monday, August 3, 2026, through Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a resident of the Borough of Bellefonte’s West Ward.
- Have resided in the West Ward for at least one (1) year prior to being sworn into office, meaning residency must have been established on or before September 8, 2025.
- Meet all other qualifications required under Pennsylvania law for service on Borough Council.
Interview and Appointment
Interviews with applicants and the appointment of the new Council Member will take place during the Borough Council Meeting on:
