The Borough of Bellefonte is accepting letters of interest and resumes from qualified residents interested in filling the vacant South Ward Borough Council seat.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a resident of the Borough of Bellefonte’s South Ward.
- Have resided in the South Ward for at least one (1) year prior to being sworn into office, meaning residency must have been established on or before August 17, 2025.
- Meet all other qualifications required under Pennsylvania law for service on Borough Council.
Interview and Appointment
Interviews with applicants and the appointment of the new Council Member will take place during the Borough Council Meeting on:
