Bellefonte Borough Water Authority advises customers that a water main was shut off on Zion Road (from Lutz Road to Roanoke Road) on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to allow crews to complete emergency leak repairs.
Affected Areas
The Nittany Terrace development is affected, including:
- Zion Road
- Lutz Road
- Musser Lane
- Hastings Road
- Kelsey Lane
- Florence Drive
- Roanoke Road
Boil Water Advisory
A Boil Water Advisory is in effect immediately following the restoration of water service on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
The advisory will remain in effect until required water quality testing has been completed and approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
During the advisory, please boil all water used for:
- Drinking
- Cooking
- Brushing teeth
- Making ice
- Preparing food
Bring water to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute before use.
A follow-up notification will be issued once testing is complete and the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted.
