Notices are being sent to the Bellefonte Borough Authority water customers/Bellefonte Water Distribution System, excluding those customers on the Corning distribution system (this distribution system was not previously fluoridated). The PA Department of Environmental Protection has granted permission to cease feeding fluoride through the issuance of a permit. Bellefonte Borough Authority will be discontinuing the addition of fluoride into the drinking water on Thursday, March 31, 2016. PWS ID 4140075
The Bellefonte Borough Authority is initiating a fluoride supplement program and a task force to consider alternatives to water system fluoridation.

A Concern is something that requires PennDOT attention for resolution such as potholes, drainage issues, or deer carcass removal.A concern should not be submitted for immediate needs or issues that could create safety concerns, like missing signs or roadway hazards. If the concern requires immediate attention, please call 1-800-FIX-ROAD to be connected directly to the county maintenance office in your area.
We wanted to remind Borough residents that some of the main roads through the Borough are state roads. They include Allegheny, Howard, and Bishop streets. If you have a pothole concern, please contact PennDOT through their website or call 1-800-FIX-ROAD.
