Parking Enforcement & Animal Control
Eric Haupt is the Bellefonte Borough parking enforcement officer and the borough Animal Control officer.
Metered parking enforcement is Monday through Saturday, 9am until 5pm. Sundays and Borough observed holidays, parking is free.
All municipal lots are metered and accept QUARTERS ONLY. HEAD IN PARKING IS REQUIRED IN ALL MUNICIPAL LOTS.
The borough of Bellefonte requires that all dogs be kept under control, on a leash.
No owner of any dog, whether or not the dog is licensed, shall allow or permit such dog to run at large at any time upon any of the streets, alleys or public grounds in the Borough or upon the property of another, unless such dog is accompanied by and under the immediate control of the owner, custodian or keeper.
**Dog licenses are now available at the County Treasurer’s Office and Lyons Kennels. The licenses are valid for the fiscal year. (Ex., Jan. 1, 2017 through Dec. 31, 2017)
