Rental info
Wedding Reservations are taken for the Talleyrand Park gazebo side of Spring Creek or the park addition side of Spring Creek or for the entire park. Wedding reservations are taken up to a year in advance. A permit shall be required for all reservations.
A non-refundable fee of $30 shall be paid for each permit application submitted. If the application is approved, there is a $200 reservation fee per area. There is also a $100 deposit per area (which is returned upon request if the park has been returned to its original condition.) These fees must be received to confirm the reservation.
Please complete the permit application provided below and return to the Borough office, together with the $30 non-refundable permit application fee. Completed applications with permit fees can be mailed to Bellefonte Borough, 236 W Lamb St, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
Wedding Reservations for the use of Talleyrand Park will be issued in writing by the Borough Manager, authorizing individuals to reserve the park for their wedding in accordance with the rules and regulations approved by Borough Council. The reservation, on a form executed by the Borough Manager, shall entitle the holder either to the use of the gazebo side of Spring Creek or the park addition side of Spring Creek or the entire park during the period of reservation. In addition, bathroom facilities will be available for the event, although not exclusively, as these facilities can be used by the public whenever they are open. In the event of a conflict in reservations, the first party in time to apply for a reservation shall take precedence over any subsequent application for a reservation.
Any request for use of Talleyrand Park for more than one date must be approved in advance by the Bellefonte Borough Council.
This is a public park and as such is always open to the public. If you are reserving the gazebo area, you are, however, entitled to the exclusive use of the gazebo or arbor for the day.
There are no restrictions on music…use your best judgment.
We do not rent chairs/tents/etc. There are no restrictions on rental items except that any of those items must be walked into the park as vehicles are not allowed. Be sure that these items are removed immediately after the event and the park is returned to its original condition.
The parking lot for the Chamber/Train Station is not available for use for the wedding. Please use the municipal lot on Potter Street.
The Park can also be utilized for other special events. For Special Events an application must be completed and submitted for Council approval.
Completed applications with permit fees can be mailed to Bellefonte Borough, 236 W Lamb Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
