The Borough of Bellefonte is interested in hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist.
The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist provides administrative support to the Borough administrative staff and serves as the receptionist for the Administrative Office and first point-of-contact for Borough residents. Knowledge of employee health insurance, workman’s compensation, local government codes and ordinances, and general administration is desirable. Excellent communication, organizational, document management and record keeping skills required. Must be able to get along well with people and have a courteous and positive demeanor at all times.
Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma plus two years of progressively responsible clerical experience. An Associate Degree from a business school, college or university in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
