Municipal Parking

TIME AND RATES

• Meters are checked Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm and Saturdays 9am-12pm. Sundays are free. All meters accept Quarters and Credit Cards.
• Free holidays include New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

ON STREET METERS

• Blue meters are handicapped only.
• Red meters: Permit parking only, permits can be purchased at https://www.tocite.net/bellefontepd/Portal
• Silver meters: 2 hours, maximum—$1.00 = one hour (Minimum)
• There are red metered spots available on the following streets:
  N. Allegheny – 23 spaces

  S. Allegheny – 20 spaces

  E. Howard – 12 spaces

  N Spring – 16 spaces

  S. Spring – 7 spaces

  E. High – 30 spaces

LOCATION OF MUNICIPAL PARKING LOTS

• Lot North: W. Howard St by the First National Bank
• Lot South: S Spring St near its intersection with W Bishop St (behind the Waffle Shop)
• Lot West: Intersection of W High St and Potter St (beside the CVS store and sometimes referred to as the Train Station)

LOT NORTH

Two kiosks are in the parking lot. 50 cents = 30 minutes and $1.00 = one hour. No Max Time

LOT SOUTH

Three kiosks are in the parking lot. 50 cents = 30 minutes and $1.00 = one hour. No Max Time.

LOT WEST

One kiosk are in the parking lot. 25 cents = 12 minutes; 50 cents = 24 minutes  and $1.00 = one hour. No Max Time.

• 2 Charging Stations
• 2 Handicap

MONTHLY PARKING PERMITS

• Lot North = $45 per month
• Lot South = $45 per month
• Lot West = $35 per month

REMINDER: THERE ARE TIMES WHEN LOTS WILL BE CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE, SNOW REMOVAL OR CLEANING. THESE TIMES WILL BE POSTED ON OUR WEBSITE AND/OR THE LOTS WILL BE POSTED WITH BARRICADES AND/OR BLINKING YELLOW LIGHTS.
